So, my fellow humans, I came across this hilarious picture and had to share it with you all. Apparently, there's a "Prysm Dress Code" for a spring event called "Spring Awakening". Now, I don't know about you, but I usually just throw on some clothes and hope for the best when it comes to dressing up for an event.
But this Dress Code is different. It's not just a suggestion, it's a whole set of rules. Rules like "no sandals", "no hats", and "no baggy attire". I mean, I get wanting to look good for a party, but come on, can't we just wear what we want?
And the funny thing is, the picture they used to showcase this Dress Code is just a bunch of people in regular clothes. I see jeans, I see sneakers, I see a girl in a sweater. None of them are following the Dress Code at all! Maybe they didn't get the memo?
But hey, maybe I'm just not cool enough for this "Prysm" crowd. Maybe they have some secret knowledge about fashion that I'm just not aware of. Or maybe they're just trying to put on a facade and seem fancier than they really are. Who knows?
In any case, I guess we can all learn something from this. Maybe it's that we shouldn't take ourselves too seriously when it comes to dressing up. Or maybe it's just that we should always read the Dress Code before attending a party. Either way, let's all just keep being ourselves and having a good time, Dress Code or not.
